Found this in the first day of detecting this spring. Two Soviet coins, two Finnish (1900 1 penni and 1916 5 pennia) and what looks like an old chain pendant, an intriguing find. Has anyone seen anything similar to this pendant in the center?

That thing is probably "female side" from some clothes clasp and not pendant.

Many different examples: https://postimg.cc/wRDd6Zjd

Used typically in jackets and vests etc. (1600-1880)

Thanks again for the explanation and the links! I've actually found a few more clasps, and then matched them to ones on your photo table. Very cool!

Very nice to hear it. All clasps with backside loops are local designs from the southern Karelia. (Mainly in the area between Ladoga & Saimaa lakes.) Other more flatter clasp designs were used all over Finland.
