Ei kyllä mitään tietoa, mutta olikohan lentopommeissa sytyttimen reiän päällä joku tälläinen korkki ennen sytyttimen paikoilleen laittoa

Muistaakseni vastaavanlainen oli mm joissain tykin ammuksissa "nallin" paikalla ja vaihdettiin oikeeseen "nalliin", tarpeentullen.

Noin kahvilautasen levyinen. Ja paksuus olis 3-4cm.

Siinä näyttäisi olevan jotain kirjoitusta tai numeroita keskellä. Saako niistä mitään tolkkua? aivan kuin olisin näkevinäni ainakin numeron "5".

Tuo olisi oiva kokkare elektrolyysiin; saattaisi tulla tuo tekstikin luettavaksi kunhan saisi tuon ruostekuonan pois hiomatta.

Looks the same and feels the same. A military article, likely. A good pick, but not necessarily right. Not sure if you could follow the finnish speaking part of this thread. Diameter is described to be ”a tea plate”- size. Not too scientific; however, in that case we are talking about diameter of something between 14cm and 23cm depending on how one defines ”a tea plate”. To my eye this piece, at least in photo, does not look to be that large. Anyway, if this truly is the case a piece of finnish mortar grenade is not an option. Even the larger caliber mortar is only 120mm thus out of the question.

All in all, in these descriptions of items at least I urge once again everyone of us posting photos&questions here to give details of the item, like exact size in millimetres, centimetres..., magnetic or not, from which part of country found, field or woods etc. etc. etc. The more background information available for us the more likely a right id of object is found.
