My first experience of real detecting

Last saturday was my first experience of real metal detecting ( in the field ) I'am so exited, but having no experience, I do not know from what are they made.. I read that 5 Pennia 1889 is made of copper.. on youtube followed cleaning tutorial and unfortunately destroyed it

Looks like mostly iron and copper items.

It's best not-to clean items with chemicals unless you really know what you're doing. I just use toothbrush and toothpaste to get most of the crap out.
That 5 penniä is in pretty rough shape but you still might be able to salvage it with thorough cleaning.

Any markings on that ring? Propably not made of any valuable metal, though silver can get quite dark sometimes.

no letters or number can't see on the ring, coin was readable until i put it into water and soda for 24 hours, then boiled in soda for 1 hour and brushed with tooth brush.. now on my own mistakes I know that ,it was bad idea =)
